SCHA is a county-based health plan serving 14 counties in Minnesota. These counties are Brown, Cass, Crow Wing, Dodge, Freeborn, Goodhue, Kanabec, Morrison, Sibley, Steele, Todd, Wabasha, Wadena and Waseca (see map). They joined together because they wanted to improve the way you receive health care. SCHA began enrolling members in November of 2001. We now have over 27,000 members.
SCHA offers six different programs to meet the needs of those in our 14 counties. We work closely with health care providers and county public health departments to support wellness. We also offer our members a variety of health promotion programs.
Our Members Matter
