SCHA MinnesotaCare is for persons age birth to 64 who live in our 11-county service area (see map). MinnesotaCare eligibility is determined by a financial worker in your county.

Member Services

Member Services is available to answer questions Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They can help you:

  • Request additional copies of member materials
  • Answer questions related to your covered benefits
  • Understand your prescription drug coverage
  • Change primary care providers
  • Order a replacement Membership ID card
  • File a grievance or appeal

Ask Mayo Clinic: 24-Hour Nurse Helpline

All SCHA members may use the Ask Mayo Clinic nurse helpline. Call and speak to a knowledgeable and friendly nurse anytime you have questions about a non-emergency health condition. The nurse can help you decide what you should do, and whether or not you need to go to a doctor. The Ask Mayo Clinic nurse helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is absolutely private.
