South Country Health Alliance (SCHA), a county-based health plan serving 12 Counties in Minnesota, has the following openings:

  • Disease Management Coordinator: Provides education to eligible enrollees (via telephone and mail) who have chronic medical conditions such as heart failure, diabetes and asthma.
    Required: Current and valid, unrestricted RN license in MN and at least two years clinical experience in a hospital, acute care or direct care setting. County Public Health (PH) or Human Service (HS) experience meets above requirements.
    Minimum salary - $50,736. (Exempt)

  • Compliance Specialist: Assist the Compliance Officer with daily operational activities of SCHA’s compliance program and provide administrative support to the Compliance Department.
    Required: Associates degree or Paralegal Certificate with 1-2 years previous state or federal regulatory, health care or managed care compliance experience; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    Preferred: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
    Minimum salary - $17.93/hr. (Non-Exempt)

  • Grievance & Appeals Manager: Responsible for the day-to-day management of SCHA's Grievances and Appeals Department, ensuring procedures are in compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations and in support of SCHA member rights according to product requirements; Responsible for management of grievances and appeals received at the health plan level or regulatory agencies level; Performs advanced and complicated case review duties requiring clinical judgment, independent analysis and detailed knowledge of departmental and regulatory procedures.
    Required: RN with an active license in the State of MN and a broad-based clinical background; At least three years health care experience; Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for appeals and grievances; Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
    Minimum salary - $59,179. (Exempt)

  • IT Development Manager: Responsible for all aspects of development and support for internally created or supported application software, including: the development methodologies, technologies (language, databases, support tools), development and testing hardware/software environments, and management of the application development staff and project workload.
    Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Science or Computer Science and a minimum of five years experience in software development. Supervisory experience preferred.
    Minimum salary - $69,666. (Exempt)
