SCHA is a county-based health plan serving 14 counties in Minnesota. These counties are Brown, Cass, Crow Wing, Dodge, Freeborn, Goodhue, Kanabec, Morrison, Sibley, Steele, Todd, Wabasha, Wadena, and Waseca (see map). They joined together because they wanted to improve the way you receive health care. SCHA began enrolling members in November 2001. We now have over 27,000 members and offer six different programs to meet the needs of those in our counties.
Our Mission
Since 2001 has been dedicated to one mission: "Providing consumer-focused, community-based health care to Minnesota counties."
